 Ida Yu 

MPhil, BSc (Hons), MHKIEIA, Certified Arborist (ISA)

Ida is a plant ecologist and botanist with extensive knowledge of plant identification and assessment covering all types of habitats. In addition, she is a Certified Arborist (ISA) and has experience in landscape design and management. She participates in a wide variety of ecological impact assessments, feasibility studies and arboricultural work. This includes providing habitat and tree evaluation and assessments, planting lists and schedules, and wetland habitats monitoring. Her M.Phil research looked at enhancing floristic diversity via the introduction of native woody species to exotic plantations in Hong Kong.

 Grace Leung 

MPhil, BSc (Hons), MHKIEIA, Certified Arborist (ISA)

Grace is a Principal Ecologist and has been working as a professional ecologist and landscape specialist for over 12 years. Grace is a vegetation specialist, able to identify over 1,000 local plant species, and is an adept and versatile field biologist, with skills in avifauna and wildlife surveys. Grace has also supported a number of Environmental Impact Assessment Studies covering both marine and terrestrial ecological studies in the HKSAR.

Grace is also a Certified Arborist (ISA) and has extensive experience in supporting government/private development projects for conducting tree assessment/tree risk or hazard assessment and providing guidance in tree preservation and management.

 Elizabeth Leven 

MPhil, BSc (Hons.), FHKILA, RLA, MLI, Certified Arborist (ISA)

Elizabeth has recently joined aec Ltd, as Landscape Associate following her 26 year career as a Senior Landscape Architect and Landscape Architect with the Hong Kong SAR Government. Elizabeth has extensive experience of project management, consultant management, contract management, conceptual and detailed landscape design, landscape master planning, urban planning, and environmental impact assessment, including landscape and visual impact assessment. She has over 35 years of experience in urban forest management in the United Kingdom and Hong Kong. She has a comprehensive understanding of the functioning of the Town Planning Ordinance, the Environmental Impact Assessment Ordinance and the land management systems in Hong Kong, including the various forms of land ”„ownership”¦ administered by Lands Department. She is one of the most experienced practitioners in Hong Kong on the landscape requirements of lease conditions, planning approvals and landscape and visual impact assessments.
